Here at Moons Maine Coons we believe we are a different type of cattery, all of our cats live in our home, and treated like royalty. We have adapted our whole life and home to be able to give our cats the best and the kittens the best start to their life’s. We believe in raising healthy, social and beautiful Maine Coons. We genetically screen all of our breeding cats for HCM, PKDEF, and SMA as well as having all our cats on a pet plan with the vets which health checks the condition of our cats every 6 months. We have adapted our whole home to make sure kittens are safe from danger and illness. Our kittens are socialised multiple times a day from the day they’re born, this ensures happy, social and confident kittens.

All the kittens in our care receive the care, love and attention like our own from the day they are born, which makes them very people orientated and social.
Our girls are not just breeding cats, but they’re our family!
Our girls live in our home, we are not a caged Cattery, so our girls live as much as a pet life as they can in between raising kittens. They get endless sofa cuddles, window watching, open access cattio during the day if they wish, and they get to join in on our every day activities.
Not studs but pampered babies!
We do not believe in keeping stud males outside the home, our boys have indoor stud quarters. Which is very messy for sure but manageable due to adaptions we made to the rooms. This ensures they’re separated from the girls, but have the benefit of living within the home. Our bedroom is part of the indoor quarters so every evening/night they get to enjoy cuddles in our bed just like any loved pet.
